I have an odd relationship with my blog. At the Sheppard Mansion, I was able to use this site as a place to post things we were doing either on the property or out at our culinary garden. In moving to Nashville, I posted a few times, but honestly this site was always pushed to the back burner while I was working on getting Josephine up and running.


While I was reflecting on 2014 today, I wish that I pushed myself to post more. Put up more photos. Write more thoughts. So many things happen in a year at a restaurant and in the life of a chef. For 2015, I want to document it; if for no other reason than just to have something to look back on 365 days from now. I read a lot of people posting about how a new year is simply page one of a 365 page book. What will each page say?


Will I post every day? Come on, I haven't posted in 7 months. Let's baby step it and see what 2015 has in store!
